Even total no heads can be right once in a while.

And I wasn't defending him as such. I was merely asking the original poster to put politics aside.
Why? Politics is not separate from life...decisions good or bad made by governments affect us all and it is right and proper that we praise or criticise them as necessary. I just do not understand this "leave politics out of it" attitude. I dont think you can, with respect. Mind you, since when has Farage been a politician?

How often are people going to the shops? (If you're going at all)

I live on my own and used to always shop day by day - Finding it a struggle to be more organised

I was reasonably stocked a few weeks before this kicked off cos I knew I would be at home for ages once Mrs R was home, but still find myself popping out for something most days! Been avoiding supermarkets for a week or so mind, and find the stuff I need in a small tesco or my corner shop.

Like will need cat food tomorrow.

Once a week my missus goes mate, I mentioned it earlier, she went to Morrissons this morning and got virtually everything she would get on a normal weekly shopping list, the only thing she couldn't get was pasta.

I guess this is a good example of what I have been referring to in regards to the media and how dangerous it has been over the past few weeks. How it's creating panic and worry every single day.

Heartbreaking story no matter what the details are, not something you ever want happening.

However it was reported as dying from the Corona virus making her the youngest person to die from the virus in the UK. I remember reading this story when it first came out , no under lying health conditions and succumbed to covid 19. Terrifying really.

The real story is that she died from a heart attack and not the virus. However by printing that story without fact checking , it's created worry that a young healthy person can just die from getting the virus. Which may or may not be the case , I'm no expert on the matter. But it's misleading the population of the country if they are reading stories that aren't true , printed in all their media sources for news.

It makes you wonder how many of these stories are misleading, how many people are marked as covid 19 deaths when they aren't but reported in the media.

All I'll keep saying is that the media are contributing to all the panic and worry , all the mental health issues that so many people are experiencing. This virus existing should he feared , but I worry people still fear it for all the wrong reasons.
This was even in the Norwegian newspaper, probably taken from the guardian. there it also said she died from corona, and I was like ##@##&

@COYBL25 kindly set up a thread for you on this subject.......use the polictical views on the pandemic on there as I stated any government in power would come under criticism or praise in a pandemic situation people are dying daily FGS....

Once a week, but has always been the case really. Though I did have to go twice last week as the Tesco had been ransacked before I got to do a shop.

Tried to do an online shop to save having to go out – and to help a few elderly family members who are isolated – but that was a waste of time.
