Gotta be honest mate, took me about 3 months before I could have my legendary 10 hour sex sessions again

Edit : typo, meant 10 minutes.

But yeah took me a good 7/8 weeks minimum before i started feeling like myself again
Yeah I'm about 8-9 weeks now since I first tested positive and only really starting to feel like my old self now. Gonna hit the gym tomorrow and see how that goes. Probably won't be pretty lol

Still wouldn't say I'm completely free of symptoms yet though. Had a check up from the doc though and there don't seem to be any major problems at least.

Very annoying but I'm one of the lucky ones

Crazy mate how it affects people differently. My daughter (she's only 9) has really only just started asking questions about when I had it, what it felt like, how ill I was and how my missus was when I was in hospital.

Literally took her 18 months to ask these questions so shows its probably been on her mind all that time

Went for a ride this morning. 90km or so and it was a pretty standard route. I'm absolutely destroyed. 4 weeks after testing negative there is still clearly a bit to go.

Hope you get back too 100% soon mate. 90km is pretty good going though. I'm getting nervous about doing a 5 min warm up on the treadmill at 6km/h tomorrow lol

Yeah it is weird. Everyone I know who's had it has been affected in different ways. Must have been pretty scary for your daughter when you were both sick

It's getting there. I'm just trying to listen to my body and not worry too much about what went before and just be happy with what the body is capable of now.
Had in March and I don’t think I’m 100%. Took several weeks of running before i wasn’t coughing up phlegm in the first mile or so. Ex smoker though so probably not helped matters

Cheers to all the knobheads - now me and the missus cant go and self isolate in a little cottage in Wales for her birthday - even though we'll be driving in our own car just the two of us and essentially locking ourselves away for three days - we'd have less contact there than we would up here FFS!!
So I was just reading some of the posts in this thread from March 23rd 2020, the day that the first lockdown was announced and this one in particular caught my eye.....the irony being that it was only a few weeks later that Dominic Cummings was allowed to get away with his drive to lock himself away in Barnard Castle, no doubt in exchange for him agreeing to remain silent about the fact that the Prime Minster himself had also been breaking the rules, by hosting gatherings in the garden of Number 10. Of course, the public weren’t to know then just how many cases of rule breaking would emerge from those in power over the next two years. Even now looking back, I believe that the Cummings incident single handedly broke the sense of community spirt that existed for those first seven weeks of lockdown. To the above poster, I’m sorry you missed out on your holiday, I hope you’ve found time to enjoy another holiday since.
