“I don’t see Germany going down the UK’s path quite so quickly,” said Knobloch. “But then you need to bear in mind there are broader philosophical differences in our health system, with avoidance of death still playing a fundamental part in the German system, while Britain’s system places more emphasis on maintaining the
ability to work.”

Sorry to hear but mate it’s not a death sentence she be right as rain in a day two.
Just a few sneezes is all so far.. She was a close contact on Tuesday, we travelled to the UK on Thursday and she was negative before we left then we returned to Ireland Yesterday and still negative, she was told about the close contact this morning so did another test and was positive...

I think its pointless having any restrictions any more.

What are we waiting for before we return to normal? Vaccines? Treatment? We have all that.

So what are we waiting for?

The people against returning to the old normal, at what point do we return?
A new virus has been introduced, the world has changed and society should adapt accordingly. That doesn't mean a huge upheaval or collasal changes but we most certainly have to have a better attitude towards healthcare systems and the mental well being of the heroes working in them, allowing people to take time off work, not spreading your filthy germs around when ill, vaccination, the dangers of profit driven misinformation, funding into epidemiology with plans procedures in place for further pandemics. It has been a huge event and hopefully the biggest challenge of our generation.

You may aswell ask when airports will go back to normal after 9/11
