We are not on lockdown at the moment. Facemasks, evidence of vaccination required before entering any pub or restaurant. I think we are heading for a return to lockdown.The numbers are frightening.

High numbers of deaths? Surprised it's different to England considering the very high vaccination numbers in the Republic of Ireland.

I am not anti vaccination because it does reduce symptoms if you're unlucky enough to get it. However, the number of those in ICU who were fully vaccinated is scary.

Vaccines are useful, vaccine passports to enter pubs and restaurants are not useful.

It is a pain in the ass especially when some idiot of a barman then looks for personal ID as well. I am not a violent person but my goodness I was seriously fed up the other day. I have been drinking in this pub for 32 years. This clown is a wet week in his job.

I think it helped that we heeded our experts more than most. Not a perfect response by any means, but still very good under the circumstances. The Irish public played a blinder too
