I couldn't disagree more with you. If people have objections to the jab and don't want to take it, then that is their right.

It is also right that they should deal with the consequences of making it.
But do you agree with the consequences?

.

Why are you an idiot if you feel you don’t need to be vaccinated against a virus which isn’t going to cause you any more than a headache and a chesty cough? I’ve had this virus, I know how it affects me. I also still have antibodies over a year after having it, so if I catch it again it’s going to be even milder. That’s the original strain of covid too, not omicron which is quite literally a cold. “They’re idiots” as a blanket term is just utterly brainwashed social media groupthink. I honestly thought you were better than that.
I do think it's idiotic not to give yourself as much protection as possible and if everyone is vaccinated it means the spread of the illness is going to be reduced, as the vaccines are proven to reduce viral loads.

So yes, I think you're an idiot not for getting it. I really do. It literally doesn't take anything to do it, there's very little risk involved and it helps keep you safer.

I don't think you or anyone else should be classed as a second-class citizen. I don't think there's anything wrong with having negative test results instead of a vaccine pass. I just don't know why you'd bother with the hassle.

But what is a valid reason in your mind for not getting the vaccine? Why don't you want it?

I respect it's your choice, that it's your choice to make. I have no issue with that. It's my choice to think anyone who doesn't take it up without a good medical reason is a bit of an idiot.

Edit: I also think people shouldn't just dismiss issues like a lack of aspiration when administering the vaccines. Or the concern over boosters every few months. But I think that's a different issue.

100% I'd even go further and say if you are unvaccinated by choice and need treatment for covid then you can pay for it too.. the state is providing a free safe enough vaccine that has been proven to reduce severe outcomes, the state shouldn't have to pick up the bill for something you could have avoided.

how are they not "free" in this scenario?

they've had the right to make a decision, knowing the facts
You're avoiding the question.

Should unvaccinated people be removed from certain parts of society clubs/bars etc...

The only facts i see are were still here 12 months after the vaccine rollout

Sorry, why are you asking me about something I've not said in this part of the debate?

If there's one spare ventilator and 2 people needing it: vaccinated and someone that refused to get jabbed then the vaxxed person should get the ventilator. That's just fair.
Not sure about that, all things being equal then yes I'd agree with you say both are 35 in good health one vaxxed and the other not then the vaxxed person should get priority.. if you have a vaxxed 98 year old and a pregnant 26 year old unvaxxed then the young woman gets it and has to pay for it.
