As this article from the Nightingale School illustrates, the distinction is between nurses who just do what they're told and nurses who think about how best to advance healthcare.

No to mention, structurally, the NHS has evolved so the actual role of nurses has changed and thus requires different skillsets. Not to mention the benefit of having a regulated degree programme (much like medicine) that hones a professional in terms of conduct and standards. Well, that's the idea anyway.

The 7 day isolation will help, the staff who were off last week will be back this week. It's not ideal but it might be manageable, they probably shouldn't have to isolate for contacts either.

It absolutely should be that but there should arguably be more ways to release using the testing

Cases levelling off/dropping. But as you can see they did in Denmark over the weekend and then have spiked up again. So could see a bit of a rise.

Looks like France either reported them weirdly over the weekend or they're starting to have their Omicron surge.
