I knew it all along but it has taken a crisis to show how absolutely incompetent senior managers in the NHS are. My wife is due to do a clinic on Thurs. The people from infection control were supposed to come today, didn't appear and didn't even bother ringing. Then she was sent info about how to order hand gel, protective masks etc, so instead of them actually dropping off urgent supplies to clinics you have to e-mail them if you want some. Absolutely crazy.

Let's not get carried away with calling all NHS workers heroes. Some of them are absolutely stealing a living and one of them costs two nurses.....

Matt Hancock is awful.

I'm trying to be supportive and constructive in what is the biggest crisis we've faced in my lifetime, and his job is pretty much an impossible one at the moment. But of all the ministers involved in this, he's been by far the, shall we say, least impressive. He doesn't give me any confidence at all that he has any sense of a grip on this and he's been found out telling porkies at least 3 or 4 times that I've noticed.

Did you see him on question time last week. Andy Burnham took him to the cleaners numerous times. I wish Andy was the current health minister. In fact I'd be more than happy if he was the current prime Minister.
