BreakingCoronavirus pandemic 'accelerating': WHO chief

The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) says the coronavirus pandemic is "accelerating".
Speaking at a press briefing in Geneva, WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said: “It took 67 days from the first reported case to reach 100,000 cases, 11 days for the second 100,000 cases, and just four days for the third 100,000 cases.”
He said he would address G20 heads of state and government this week to ask them to work together to boost production of protective gear.

Folk from Devon, Cornwall and Tenby have been of the radio all day saying that their local areas are just about coping as it is. And leaving London, (big assumption, granted), for your own selfish ends without a thought that you might be carrying the virus can hardly be called Essential Travel can it?

Much more eloquently put, than “ you’re not welcome, get of my land “

A total of 335 people have died in the UK after testing positive for coronavirus - an increase of 54 since yesterday.

It comes after a further 46 people in England died following a COVID-19 diagnosis, bringing the total there to 303.

Scotland and Wales also reported another four deaths each, taking the totals to 14 and 16 respectively.

(and 2 in NI I think)

The haircut thing dawned on me earlier as well. Not a chance I would go to the barbers anyrate. Mrs R said she would give me a trim, but as she struggles with an (empty) kettle atm, not convinced! Might have to buy a buzzer thing.

Or just be not remotely arsed.

The bold bit is something I've been doing for years anyway.
