Out of interest, have you ever had vaccinations to travel (apart from covid)?Sorry are under 18s banned from pubs and over 70s banned from driving? It’s not even remotely the same thing. Segregation is fascism.

are anti boosting brigade allowed? two doses only?
I’d be fascinated to know if Ronaldo is vaccinated. It's like the elite athletes.
Yeah, looks like PL is finally getting a grip of it but it definitely has been a push.
Elite athletes know they have a better chance than most people of being absolutely fine if they have COVID. But obviously on the flip side there's that issue that if they get it their performance could be severely effected by long-term impacts (see Godfrey, who we don't know is vaccinated or not - but going off when his age range would have been available for the doses, he could have only have had one dose by the time he caught covid in August, as he's only 23/24.)
However, there's also concern over the vaccine. How does that impact elite performance? Can that have a negative impact on fitness?
Each person assesses risk differently. Most would see that it's better to have as much protection as possible, but some think there's risks that aren't worth taking and the only people that would be able to change their mind are family or medical professionals probably.
Others are just conspiracy nutters like.

Probably not phrased the best as there is always talk of lockdowns. The media makes certain of that.Tbf they were low all summer and there was talk of lockdowns as soon as we got out of the last one
I’ve had a malaria jab yeah, why?
tbf they could have snuck them in as one of his daily roid injections and he wouldn't know the differenceI’d be fascinated to know if Ronaldo is vaccinated.
yeah I agreeProbably not phrased the best as there is always talk of lockdowns. The media makes certain of that.
Just saying that hospitalisations is one of the main metrics and if they were half what they are now, lockdowns would be far less likely.
as a private landlord he can probably keep out people for being unvaccinated or not showing proof of a negative test tbf
Like, if that's a safety measure he wishes to add in then he has a right to do it. It's only like going a gig.
I'm not sure if Pete is exclusively referring to vaccine only passes, mind.
Out of interest, and obviously you don't have to say, but are you vaccinated?
Like I just assumed you were, but that you were really against the idea of COVID passes etc (which I do totally get)
tbf they could have snuck them in as one of his daily roid injections and he wouldn't know the difference
As an aside, I remember Lukaku got asked about it when he signed for Chelsea, and he said yes he'd got both doses, but that the main reason he did it was because of his family. I'm paraphrasing but he basically said that he wasn't worried about catching it himself (which ironically, he now has done) but that he got the vaccine because of vulnerable people in his family. Which is fine and obviously right, but also suggested that if those vulnerable people weren't in his family, he probably wouldn't have got it.
So you do follow medical advice when it suits you…….
Well malaria would probably kill me and covid and won’t?
yeah I agree
then again they're locking down across Europe with high vaccination rates too...
Not being conspiracy or anything, just - governments don't know what else to do it seems
