I was being sarcastic but anyway that doesn't change the fact that every country in the world is going down the live with COVID route.

Keep talking about your test and trace system on a daily basis even though it doesn't work without a 5 month lockdown.

Just had this from National Opera

Following government guidance as of 28 November 2021, the ENO and the London Coliseum have made the decision to mandate the use of face coverings at all times in our theatre, including in the auditorium. This continues our commitment to prioritising the health and safety of our staff, performers and audiences above all else.

The only exceptions to this rule are those who are exempt, those who are eating and drinking and those aged under the age of eleven. If you arrive at the theatre and do not have a mask with you, our Front of House teams will be happy to provide you with one.

  • We encourage all customers to participate in the Government’s Lateral Flow testing programme to obtain negative tests before your visit. All our staff and performers are regularly tested to ensure your safety.
  • We have been encouraged to have a system in place to check the COVID status of audiences and we may ask you to show your COVID status (negative test result, proof of double vaccination or proof of natural immunity).
  • Please observe all COVID secure safety notices and instructions given by our Front of House teams while in the venue. Please be respectful to staff and be aware that we have a zero-tolerance policy approach to abuse of any kind towards our staff.
  • If you have COVID symptoms you must not attend the venue.

To be fair we had Matt Cockhead fake crying on national telly when the first person in the UK had their vaccine, telling us “we can all now get on with our lives”. I’d say the vast majority of the country fell for the “get your jab and you can go back to normal” bollocks.

A lot of the messaging was like that in fairness. I seem to remember them talking about no reverses in the roadmap as well?
