Lovely attitude to have. I'm sure she would have appreciated it this morning taking her medication for her issues now since , or when she was sat in a hospital bed at 3am, 6 months ago by herself.

And you wonder why some people don't want to get the jab? Because people like you are telling them to get it.
oh of course the obligatory anecdotal 'evidence' to back up your drivel, go eat 99 sweets then one more you weapon

We have hit the peak part of internetting now. Someone who has nothing to contribute just wants to act the big man behind his keyboard.

When you have something intelligent to say, come back to me and I will happily discuss the subject with you.

Absolutely no need for your responses. Pathetic.

There is pretty serious side effects and a whole host of minor side effects. There is the notion that people just haven't had covid at all and therefore don't need to vaccinate themselves against a virus that have never caught so never been a danger to others regarding it.

As the wife always tells me. If you had a bag of 100 sweets and one of them could harm you but the other 99 wouldnt , it's personal choice whether you take the risk given the 99% chance you will be fine.

you might get diabetes or a hole in your tooth from other 99, something to think about

Where is the “Nobel prize for mathematics “ nomination button?

Germany are claiming they are about to have their worst wave ever. 78.6% of the adult population are fully vaccinated, 85.8% of over 60s are fully vaccinated.

I did expect the vaccines to prevent worst ever waves.
They're most prominent virologist predicted pretty much this would happen back in the early part of this year when vaccines starting getting rolled out. In fact he said he could even imagine a situation of 100k cases a day despite vaccinations. We'll see how close we get to that. He was dismissed as project fear though (whatever the German equivalent of that is)

I confess I haven't had any jabs.
Is there a reason why?

It's obviously your choice to make, but they are proven to protect you. I'm not sold on needing a booster yet myself but I don't have that choice to make anyway for at least another few months. If I end up needing to, I'll go and get it. I'd definitely say get your first two. Having had COVID, like many in here I'm, sure, when I was partially vaccinated, I can tell you it's not nice, and neither are the potential long-term effects that I'm still getting over 4 months later (my second jab played a part in that, btw, but to me it was worth taking still). I can't know for sure if I'd have been worse without the vaccine or not, but I'm glad I had at least one dose when I got ill.

Think about yourself first and foremost without getting into the debate about it being a selfless act, because ultimately the vaccine is just about giving your body an extra wall of protection against this thing.

The wife had quite serious side effects and ended up in hospital after the second jab.

So what wham are you referring to? I've had my booster even after that , so has the wife. Partly because she is now on about 2/3 tablets every day as a result from the side effects to stop them coming back.

Before you accuse people of talking wham about real life stuff, consider there may be real life things that have happened to influence their words? Otherwise you just come across looking silly ?

What side effects did your wife get mate if you dont mind me asking?

That is tremendously unlucky and so statistically unlikely that it isn't a reason for anyone to not take the vaccine.

Your personal experience doesn't translate to the big picture.

As I've said previously, the only legit reason is something like known allergies.
