These folks with deathly ill family members that still shrug about COVID floor me.
Given how, as discussed earlier in thread, personal experience and anecdote are usually more persuasive than data I find it psychology fascinating albeit quite depressing.

I've lost my family over this. My wife went so far into denial and conspiracy she ran off with my equally misguided pot smoking neighbour. We have a child. Last time I saw her she looked manic. She thinks she's saving the world when in fact she's following russian/Chinese bots online and falling straight into their trap by doing the opposite. Heart breaking I've lost my family over this.
