Oh I know mate, didn't mean it to come across that way. Just meant to be clear to other posters. I - like you and your lads - felt it was the right thing to do. First and foremost that was because it protected me a bit more (in theory - not sure that worked out in practice but I'll never know, I might have ended up in hospital if I hadn't had my first jab when I got COVID. I'm glad I didn't take that risk.)Wasnt suggesting you were mate. Not in the slightest.
Boosters for older people and vulnerable groups I'm well behind.I had my booster Jab today Pfizer jab no 3 - so far so good never felt a thing - no side effects as yet .... IMO it's a must for everyone .....

I got infected naturally. Was a terrible 10 days tbf. Still though if not for mandates I would have defo waited for a few years, to see it being developed more. Why though?
As in why wouldn't you want extra protection from the virus?
The guy stated I may get side effects - some do - some don't - I have heard from some friends they were ill - told me to take paracetamol etc plenty of fluids etc - hoping I won't need themBoosters for older people and vulnerable groups I'm well behind.
I'm yet to see evidence people - who don't have underlying conditions - in their 20s would hugely benefit from them, and I don't think using boosters as a form of ID is the way forward.
I was happy to have my second dose of vaccine. It knocked me for six for weeks. Not ill, it just knocked my general level of fatigue up. That's most likely because I had covid in between doses one and two. But at the same time, it'd be annoying if that happened again with a booster.

The rest of my family are months off having their booster - I got mine early, as classed as a vulnerable patient ...
Nice one Joe. Get my booster 4th Dec; is that derby day at GP? Gonna book 3.00 pm if so.

I too have had the natural infection - in between both jabs.I got infected naturally. Was a terrible 10 days tbf. Still though if not for mandates I would have defo waited for a few years, to see it being developed more.
Flu jab too provides extra protection and it's an established vaccine but I don't get it every winter. Till 2020 it was the case anyway.

You have to think of the mutations of this deadly virus - as we are an island, we have many arrivals ....Covid passports in Northern Ireland. Can someone please explain to me how this will help. There is no evidence i see of it working anywhere.
And I am not against vaccines. I couldn't be anymore in favour. I am however against pointless regulation that will hurt business and jobs for no benefit that I can see.
I dont like what is happening.
25% of under 30s in NI are not vaccinated. Add in the slow pace of the booster roll out (my own is overdue) and hospitals already working to capacity and something has to change or we are sleep walking back into it all again. The media need to stop pushing for restrictions. There is no widespread support for them. Let us live our lives and stop trying to limit our freedoms. 90% of the population is vaccinated because the public supported the vaccine roll out in huge numbers. Why aren't we focusing on that.
