Yeah I'm not following too much news at the moment (for the sake of my sanity) but I remember that Germany has been much slower in approving vaccines for kids than other countries. And kids have not been well looked after at schools at all throughout this whole pandemic. Very little government investment into making them safer. There were even stories of parents clubbing together to get air filters installed. And Germany's overall vaccine management has been very poor IMO. They must be swimming in excess doses by now but can't organise themselves well enough to get them into people's arms. And then of course there's the big group of weirdos that call themselves the "Querdenker" who are probably exacerbating the anti-vax sentiment in the country.

Like I’ve said before the vaccines are useless or something sinister is going on, why is anywhere locking down with an 85% vaccinated population against a virus which has around 99% survival rate!
Probably around 95% of the 99% don’t even go to hospital!

WTF is going on??

I read that many European countries used only a few weeks between jabs, meaning lower protection, but we (UK) kept to the longer gap. Was not universally popular at the time iirc.
