Yes you're correct which means the headline is incorrect.
No, it’s not. The headline is evidenced elsewhere in the article.

Do you live in the uk?No, it’s not. The headline is evidenced elsewhere in the article.
I think you're right on this. Just checked the data in a national newspaper. The vaccination rate decreases the further east you go. With Berlin being an outlier.I would imagine the rates are probably lowest in the states which formerly were part of the GDR. My in-laws are originally from Eastern Europe and there’s a lot of baggage from the days of communism that leads to a mistrust of government, medical establishment.
Do you live in the uk?
I just wondered. Do you? What an absolutely bizarre thing to ask.
The latest data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that eight out of 10 adults reported wearing a face covering when outside their home in the past seven days.
Most adults (84%) felt that wearing a face-covering was either very important or important as a measure to slow the spread of coronavirus, the ONS said.

There is absolutely no way this is true. None. Just goes to show self-reported surveys/stats are next to worthless.
The reality is almost the complete opposite.
I read that earlier and laughed. It's utter bollocksThe latest data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that eight out of 10 adults reported wearing a face covering when outside their home in the past seven days.

What do they define as “outside their home”? If it just means putting one on when in the shops or on public transport then that figure sounds about right. The latest data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that eight out of 10 adults reported wearing a face covering when outside their home in the past seven days.

I would prefer balanced and non sensationalist reporting, not screaming headlines designed to scare the life out of everyone.
I`ve still got reduced lung capacity from catching a it more than a year ago, I have to use an inhaler in the morning. My lad still can`t taste or smell certain things for over a year now. I know four people who`ve died from it and one of my bests mates partners came very close a couple of weeks ago, so I`m acutely aware of what it does to people and the impact it has on peoples lives.
If you where on a country path somewhere and someone jumped out of their skin as you approached them or pinched their nose as you passed them by, at a respectful distance, would you not find that odd and just a tad offensive ?
Maybe it`s just me being over sensitive ?

The second stat does seem high but again, it could be people agreeing with wearing them in shops/public transport rather than advocating a mask mandate.
