Different vaccines wasn't AZ mainly used in UK where as EU countries were mostly Pfizer, perhaps there is a difference?

I wasnt. A nurse said she might, but she didnt bother. That said, my condition was zero covid related. In fact, said nurse paid more attention to my DIY #2 haircut than anything else! "Do you want me to cut the bit you have missed?" she said, bless her.

I know even whiston have tested everyone in.

Friend of mine a year ago went in with something different, a minor thing but was tested whilst in hospital and tested positive. He felt really bad that he was on a ward by himself having to be fussed on but was released still to isolate at home.

Many patients are in as covid patients after testing on admission or after admission. Sounds like it may not be completely consistent if you weren't.

It may be complete baloney, but a little bird told me last night that we may see a news story within a week where readjusted figures will show a larger rise in cases.

Apparently it's to do with the reporting of reinfections, or the lack of.

Pretty sure I saw a report a day or two ago that a lab serving the area around south Wales - Exeter direction had given out a load of false negatives in the last few weeks to people who were positive.

That is true. The person who I was speaking to was alluding more to a national level manipulation of the data, with reinfections not being fully reported.

They said that infections are probably already over 100,000 per day when you factor in the above, LF tests not being followed up and overall ONS surveillance.

To be fair, I have no way in validating what they're saying, but on the other hand I have no real reason to doubt them.

Robert peston tried to allude to that a while ago on twitter. He was shot down and people actually worked it all out on the thread and proved even if they hadn't counted reinvention, it was such a small % it hardly made any difference.

They all count diff, which I find odd. PhE, ONS and then u have the zoe app which is miles different

Had my booster today!

I had mine yesterday. Unlike the first two, I have a bothersome reaction. I ache and feel wiped out.
Improving this afternoon I'm pleased to say.

Into a 4th day with a chesty cough, was mild enough that I could work Wednesday and Thursday, but got progressively worse Thursday night to the point I woke up Friday morning dizzy and disoriented so had to ring in, did a lat flow test which was negative then booked a full PCR which also came back negative this morning thankfully
