Cuba have a very good health service for a country which has some problems in other areas.

I do find it odd that Wales has worse rates than England at the moment but its probably down to that lab messing up as I believe they covered parts of Wales. South East has had a big spike so Wales is probably for similar reasons.

I work with a lot of Romanians and our company have a base over there and they are very much against the vaccine.

I think this is right. I think masks have some effect but they aren't the panacea people seem to think they are; it's pretty much a placebo effect.

It's what this clamour for 'Plan B' is about - mandatory mask wearing etc.

I don't think it'll make much difference, especially at this point in the pandemic when even if it were made mandatory people know it isn't enforced/wear it around their chin anyway.

If Wales has a mask mandate yet has even higher levels of COVID than England then, clearly, a mask mandate isn't doing anything.

41% of infections in Wales are among the under 19s. I might be wrong but I think the Welsh government is not mandating mask wearing in classrooms.

I think it might change human behaviour slightly if you know you have to wear a mask. people will be more aware etc.

They're more careless too. False sense of security, less aware of space and what they're touching, more likely to go places they would have avoided before etc.
