That's fine. It's based on vaccine passports, which were going to be in place here, but people kicked off about it?
I can scarcely remember last week tbh.Do you not remember all the uproar in the summer when it was announced mate? And Starmer saying in Parliament that it wasn't on?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-56598413 - just one article I found from a quick search.
I am behind it because I think it's the best of a bad bunch of options, and that was my position all along. But there were people screaming that it was inhumane.

To have gotten into such a situation with such a high vaccination rate is incompetence of the highest order.England just let go of all restrictions in July on the back on the over promised vaccine "game changer" and the gullible lapped it up. Its important to get vaccinated but its by no way near end of anyone with an ounce of responsibility during this pandemic, that has never been clear with Boris and chums since vaccination came in.
Westminster Government should have continued with mask wearing and building ventilation. Life could continue pretty normal.
We are already having to ask individuals to consider isolation because of this and getting the booster into the most vulnerable its death sentence having to go into NHS with this illness again they just cant cope with it all. And more people are going to die unnecessarily.
Lots of people round my way had volunteered at the vaccine centers marshaling who were on furlough, all gone now and desperate for replacements.

Russia has low vaccination rates and a nasty outbreak atm
Fwiw here in Bay area we dropped the indoor mask mandate in June as California fully opened up. When cases in August started to rise back to winter levels (despite high vax rates) the indoor mandates came back and I’ve seen very little non compliance.the issue is; do you really think people who have stopped would start wearing them again? i think only a low percentage would. it's too late.
Key bit I guess would be if people would walk the talk but at least in theory a high percentage claim to support mask mandates (if it stops the pubs from closing!)the issue is; do you really think people who have stopped would start wearing them again? i think only a low percentage would. it's too late.
