Thanks for that. I’m struggling to see what has changed from a vaccinated US arrivals standpoint other than doing away with the pre-departure test (which may still be required by the airline to even board the flight?). Also, why would they scrap the test prior to departure yet keep the one after you arrive? Seems it would be the other way around in an effort to keep infected individuals from ever entering the country.
Alas if you are looking for any logic to the UK rules they are in scant supply

Is this a specifically American thing? I don't think Ivermectin is available in the UK, hardly anything is without a prescription and that includes animal grade medication.
Part of me thinks that they're "in on it" like they act so dumb that it has the effect of making anyone who is vaccine hesitant, with genuine fears, come across as just another conspiracy loon.
Another question I have is, if I got the virus in Feb 2020 and had a rough cough for 6 weeks, which I did, and then I got better and have no lingering effects then do I have a natural immunity now? Like how is the vaccine supposed to be superior to any immunity I have developed from recovery?
I like how people are scared of a vaccine but happy to pop horse drugs into themselves. I want to use the word irony but I don’t think it’s strong enough.

Probably just an American thing. As discussed previously, ivermectin can be prescribed by a doctor, but a lot of people here have become aware (likely from Facebook) that it is also one of the ingredients in a common horse-dewormer than can be easily purchased at any livestock supply store. They've just been purchasing it there and going home and eating it straight out of the tube like toothpaste.

In seriousness dont think it matters, the delta variant escapes vaccination end of just have to look at Israel, and now on their fourth booster for vulnerable people...
The UK numbers are pretty good in being vaccinated.
Scotland and Wales have vaccinated 91% of those aged 16 and over with at least one dose, while England has reached 89% and Northern Ireland 87%.
More should be done with controlling infections and transmission.
