If it's 2 days before you "return" though, that would mean either the day of departure or the day before, no? Wouldn't that kinda defeat the point of the test in the first place?

I’m in Greece at the moment and my friend’s that have left already took their test the day before they flew back. So I imagine if you are just going for a night then you can get the test on the day you arrive. You only need to get a lateral flow and if you’re in Vienna I’m sure there will be loads of places to get one. Mine in Athens took about 10 minutes and most of that was filling in forms and paying (€10)
