Normally agree with your posts, but Borough Market for bread ? Jeez send the butler next time. Common sense says avoid packed places.Went to Borough Market for some bread yesterday and despite signs at each entrance asking people to wear a mask, I'd say perhaps 10% of people actually were. It was quite shocking tbh. Such a simple thing to do and people seemingly can't be arsed.
Suffice to say it's not for our morning toast but as a treat once in a while (they have some good Czech style pastries)Normally agree with your posts, but Borough Market for bread ? Jeez send the butler next time. Common sense says avoid packed places.
I work across the bridge. Wrecked and getting worse. Hic !Suffice to say it's not for our morning toast but as a treat once in a while (they have some good Czech style pastries)
I had lunch in the city a week or so ago. The place is certainly more active. It was a ghost town for much of last year.I work across the bridge. Wrecked and getting worse. Hic !
Still a ghost town during the week. I manage one of the biggest buildings in the City. Totally empty in the week then at night and at weekends the work at home peeps come flooding in. Because, perhaps, it's still a sensible precaution even if it is a measure to reassure others rather than to solely protect from transmitting the virus? What? no legal requirement to wear a mask anymore, so why should people wear them?

There's a difference between what we must do and maybe what we could/should do. I don't have to say good morning people on my walk, but I do as it's polite.
Why? Would you not demonise a chef if he refused to wash his hands after handling raw chicken.i've spent 12 months having to wear a mask to protect others.. If people are THAT scared of the virus now then do go to crowded places.
People have every right not to wear a mask now, and don't demonise people for choosing not to

It’s a very simple task, think of others. Only utterly selfish nobs would think otherwise
Neither is a chef not washing his hands, what would you call him?Its not law... its not a task its a choice. And I like plenty of others have decided to not wear them now. Stop calling people selfish, its stupid.
Are all over 60 year olds 'selfish' for not staying in for the past 18 months and allowing under 60's to crack on with life?
keep wearing your mask, i'm not telling you to take it off.Neither is a chef not washing his hands, what would you call him?
I’ve noticed it gradually creep in on the tube. And I was at a services yesterday and it was like masks didn’t exist. I guess people are just going to get on with it now which is fair enough.Went to Borough Market for some bread yesterday and despite signs at each entrance asking people to wear a mask, I'd say perhaps 10% of people actually were.
