The worry is if the deaths start moving towards a 200-300 average. Schools and universities in a couple of weeks will definitely be a big test.

Hang on wasn’t the 60,000 crowds at the Euros meant to make the deaths fly up? And then post-freedom day with night clubs opening? And then capacity crowds attending football matches when the league started?

Vaccines were only ever part of the answer. Very similar to many health issues. We're simple tweak in how we live our lives could have a dramatic effect. The truth is no one knows.

dafuq are u talking about? even with %100 vaccination rate and completion of vaccine program for the entire population, do you want people to stay masked at all times outside in the future? why?

perhaps it would be better if you (and others) understand that when someone says “we should do something different” that it doesn’t necessarily mean “we should make people wear masks all the time”

if we had proper test, track and trace we wouldn’t need lockdown, wouldn’t need vaccine passports, wouldn’t need mask mandates and might not even need a vaccination programme.

It's only due to modern medicine that many who succumb to covid (and other causes) have lived as long as they have.

If you actually look around when you go to town etc. it is quite eye opening to see how many people appear to be in very poor health.

I still think that we have some responsibility for a while longer until covid becomes fully endemic but this modified behaviour cannot go on forever
