If only their fathers had worn them.

Hopefully they'll also use them for what they are intended, thereby raising the intelligence of the gene pool.

Yeah I get where the lads are coming from and perhaps over reacted in my comment, it’s the human aspect I see, but as the lads say if they assist to startle some perhaps worthwhile posting them, I didn’t think of that tbh,

Over time though maybe we should be careful, there could come a time when someone belonging to someone on here might be one of those stats, hopefully not.

Im prob a bit over sensitive I saw the Italy numbers before logging in here and the the death stats were the first thing I saw.
The stuff happening in Italy scares the [Poor language removed] out of me.
My misses has terminal cancer and was told she has 6 months to live 6 months ago but she is holding up well but this virus would kill her outright.
As her only carer I worry that if l was to get it what would happen to her

Crazies everywhere, speaking to my mother who lives on the Welsh coast it's like sunny August bank holiday as people rush to self isolate in their second homes Camper van and carvans... Also seen on my social media feeds that Snowdon was rammed with people, highlighted in Welsh article. Evidently too late this time, lesson will need to be leant how we manage selfish idiots...

I get where you are coming from, I work in Palliative care myself and it’s a really frightening time for people in what’s a really difficult journey and time anyway. It’s not easy and have a lot of respect for you hanging in there with her, it’s a tough space, but I know you wouldn’t be anywhere else, still, not easy.

Keeping my fingers crossed and sending best wishes to your wife, you and whole family. I’m sure everyone on here thinks the same and don’t be afraid to use us form a bit of fun, distraction, light relief or a bit support if you ever need it.

Italy didn't order restaurants/bars to close until either 11th or 12th.

We're (a few days) ahead of them on that relative to the curve, but not by nearly enough. Should have happened days ago.
On 4 March, the Italian government ordered the full closure of all schools and universities nationwide as Italy reached 100 deaths. All major sporting events, including Serie A football matches, will be held behind closed doors until April.[454] On 9 March, all sport was suspended completely for at least one month.[455] On 11 March, Prime Minister Conte ordered stoppage of nearly all commercial activity except supermarkets and pharmacies

Do you need any help mate, like someone getting groceries or that? Am sure that there would be willing volunteers to help if you need any so you can stay inside with your wife.

Exactly.

Sorry, but they were in lockdown mode - on the 8th they were only allowing restaurants etc to stay open until I believe 6pm or 7pm etc.

There's gonna be a lot of deaths. It's going to happen. We should have prepared earlier. We just have to hope the NHS can handle the strain.

Hopefully it can over the long run.
