if that is the goal, then they need to be in prison
Bin it off mate, say you're in the trial. If someone asks which one, tell them you've just made it up. Almost worked for BoJo, if not for those pesky kids...Daughter has just tested positive, again, joy, another 10 days.............
The boy is refusing to isolate, he says he will lose his job if hes off for 10days, the missus will lose a huge amount of money, we struggled for a bit after our last isolation, my heads burnt rar off.Bin it off mate, say you're in the trial. You lateral flowing/getting tested yourself?
It's a complete nonsense.
The boy is refusing to isolate, he says he will lose his job if hes off for 10days, the missus will lose a huge amount of money, we struggled for a bit after our last isolation, my heads burnt rar off.
We have all just had a lateral flow, all negative.
My daughter has the other 1 in work, thats the 1 thats come back positive.

I share your frustration.Daughter has just tested positive, again, joy, another 10 days.............
43 last Tuesday, 28 the Tuesday before that and 23 the Tuesday before that
My missus and daughter havent been able to get in touch with their bosses yet, they both fully expect to be told to come into work, which is quite scary.I woke up yesterday feeling like I'd been run over by a steamroller, took a lateral flow and tested positve so been for the proper test just waiting on that. Its the 2nd day off my holidays so been in touch with my mates who i was having a pint with.
Most have said to say don't mention their names to test and trace as they can't be off not getting paid for 10 days, one of them fancied some time off so phoned work to tell them he'd been sitting most of the afternoon having a few pints with me but was told to come into work anyway.
herd immunity was always the goal and surely it is for every country - for the entire planet. There is no alternative. Not test and trace, not lockdowns, not completely banning travel. We can never eradicate covid now, Aus and NZ have shown that, but we can at least minimise its effectiveness which largely has been done by vaccination.
Just how they get there is obviously what's up for debate.
Vaccination is the best policy and thankfully it's been good here, generally speaking.
I agree, the lot of them should be thrown in jail for numerous things, but general levels of immunity in the population is how diseases become much less serious. Not continuous restrictions and quarantines that will go on forever and ever because whenever something opens up there'll always be a spike.
