We're going for herd immunity by infections, blunt line. I'm not saying I agree with it, but ultimately that's probably what the hope is - because the vaccines allow us to do that.

It's a gamble, a huge gamble, and again I'm not saying it's right.

But I also don't think it's right that thousands have lost jobs or hundreds of venues have been closed for 18 months or that entire industries had everyone - not just the government - telling them they didn't matter.

I don't know anymore, I'm just going to stay sensible. Given I've bloody got the thing, supposedly, especially sensible, though there's no way I'm not going to be getting out on my bike early tomorrow and keeping my training up, only thing that's keeping me sane!

I've already made my mind up that if I get pinged by track and trace I will not go into shops, pubs, restaurants or public transport but I will be getting out for a run and on my bike.

I’m sure the Dow plunge played a role in the change in tone, but I have to imagine the whole world finding out yesterday that the company has a sort of in-house vaccine passport had some effect as well.
