I blame the baby boomers for raising spoilt and stupid kids…….

Quite a lot of the people at these protests seem to be older. The highly vulnerable anti vaccers such as that obese Q fan on that video on the previous page are a much bigger risk than an unvaccinated 18 year old.

Which is why, as draconian and dictatorship like as it is, creating a 'two-tier society' with the vaccine process is really the only answer.

You can't force people to get it. But you can force their hand.

They'll trial it with clubs and gigs and events, but I bet by Xmas it's in bars, theatres, maybe even restaurants too, and almost certainly will be in place for travel.

It's tough. No doubt there are a lot of young people out there who are really struggling with the fear of being vaccinated. They see these horror stories and will be terrified of suffering the same - but if they're told they have to have one to do stuff they enjoy, or even keep there job, that's going to put them in a horrible place mentally.

I agree its what's needed. Unfortunately I'm so against it because of the potential for it to be abused by an untrustworthy government (believe it or not we could have it MUCH worse than we do now) that even when I've had my second, my year ends on whatever date comes in, and even longer if required. I just can't bring myself to even implicitly support that sort of thing. I'm sure that's seen as a conspiracy theory but there are plenty of ways I could imagine any system that green or red lights people being abused.
If I felt like it was under proper scrutiny or process maybe I'd accept it as the will of society but at the moment I'm seeing one man or group making monumental decisions without any scrutiny

I agree its what's needed. I do see people’s concern about it cause I think to an extent that is natural, but short of introducing a law when it’s legal for people to be pinned down and vaccinated, then I can’t see another way than positive PR around the vaccine (which there is) and then ultimately making it so that if you don’t have it, then you can’t do things.

I stress, I think it’s crap, but I think it’s needed.

loads of countries are having a similar issue, look at the mess Aus got themselves into (thought at least they haven’t had loads of deaths)

Yeah there's issues. Hopefully this latest move forces people's hands. Instead, it's just Labour arguing the toss and nightclub owners getting angsty and a load of kids baffled by it.
