I'm starting to worry with all these stories that delta is looking more and more vaccine resistant

We aren't getting those stats as it doesn't fit the narrative.

But as you know, that time will come at the end of the summer and going fully into the autumn.

So if you don't open up now, then you'd just have to push it back further - probably to next spring. By which time some venues will have gone over two years without being able to operate.
