My work colleague tested positive yesterday even though he has had both jabs. He feels a bit unwell with a sore throat and headache but still able to work from home which we have been doing sine March,2020.

Hope so because hospital admissions are currently outrunning the central SAGE projections in England


and the typically shorter stays aren’t helping much for capacity.

I live in Edinburgh and just had to go into town for my second jab. Prince's Street was rammer, lots of people with suitcases as well. Last year, I knew of one person who caught covid, there are four from my work this week who have it now. No idea what's happening up here, but it feels closer than ever

I agree with him, the whole point of wearing a mask is to help limit the spread if you have it, not to reduce the chances of someone passing it to you. That means you are doing your bit and someone else comes in and starts coughing and sneezing without one then where is the fairness in that?

Remember that some people have not been vaccinated due to possible issues with reactions. I think as per London, it should be mandatory on public transportation and go that bit further to say shops. Gigs/theatre/sports events/nightclubs/pubs can all go back to normal as you have a distinct choice whether to go to one or not. Shops and transportation you don't so much.

I agree masks should be worn. Just fancied slagging off Harry potter fans
