How is it alarmist if it is the truth? It has only just started animal trials.

I'm not saying you're being alarmist, I;m saying that the sliding scale from best to worst of McNeil's was alarmist. It seems to me that he's got the Spanish Flu epidemic as his model but cant or wont factor in that we live in the 21st century not 1918.

I repeat: it appears to me that this is all to frighten people and boost the non-medical measures that need to be taken to give the micro-biologists enough time to do their stuff.
