Went to a local pub to watch the game last night. I don't think I seen a mask once. The amount of spread last night must have been so high.

The Euros ending and the schools closing might actually be a big help in a few weeks time.

Anyone else feel England's gonna get battered by this thing in the next few weeks?

Its going to explode these next few weeks.. Wouldn't surprise me to see some restrictions brought back in at some point.

Going to be interesting seeing the numbers over the next 10 days or so now the tournament is over.

Huge amounts double jabbed or had it already so might not go up much further. Obviously, could also rocket.

It's already exploded, and deaths aren't rising, hospitalisations still short compared to previous peaks etc.

Vaccines are doing their job. Just got to get everybody done asap.

Imagine handing over the responsibility of managing the largest public health crisis in a century to a general public whose measure of common sense is ably demonstrated by standing on a car windmilling their tallywhacker, or sticking a flare up their bumbahole.

Probably ain't gonna end well, is it?

Good luck if you're clinically vulnerable.

Deaths are rising

And just because hospitalizations aren’t at the previous peaks doesn’t mean they aren’t concerning, especially given other demands on NHS resources.

You can still think the opening needs to go ahead in some form on July 19th but it should be done whilst admitting the current situation.
