July 19th and no more conversations taking place in grids on computer screens, no more stupid adverts using Covid phrases to sell their products, no more “SD”, no more queuing at stores and annoying red lights stopping you at Tesco as soon as you get to the entrance.
I however wish I could add to that, no more deaths, no more suffering NHS workers, no more grieving families as those will still happen just like flu since 1918.
We will however be able to see our friends again, watch the Toffees again and plan holidays without any “Sorry mate, you can’t go” a week before you leave.
As for the dress code at work debate, I’ve been working at home since March last year and the work suit has been in the wardrobe ever since, never touched. Every Wednesday people on my team to go into the office on a rotating basis, doing work that cannot be done at home. The rule on dress code has been relaxed for the time being to stop those people feeling more set back by having to be there, while people work from home. They actually from what I have been told are enjoying coming in seeing staff members although only three are allowed in, and they believe relaxing the dress rules has made them feel more that way. We mostly work indoors and only like 5 members of staff before Covid would work out and about, so having a strict dress code wasn’t such a good idea originally and people are seeing this.
