Theres a couple of articles from a quick google. Its well known that Imperial and SAGE have predicted a third wave since April. They expected deaths to be much higher.

Do you actually read any of these reports?

The first one has predicted an additional 9000 deaths by June 2022.

The second one talks about delaying the initial June stage 4 date so more people could be vaccinated to help reduce transmission.

Don't think they have predicted anything regarding deaths being higher??

The first one was before the 'delta' variant but it is much more realistic. The second is utterly laughable. Predicting more deaths and hospitalisations than last winter when all of the at risk groups were already vaccinated is fantasy land.

There have been various SAGE predictions for deaths at various points over the past 6 months. If you think otherwise you must not watch or read the news.

in which case I intend to comply with the law and I wont be having my second vaccine as i felt terribly ill after the first one.

the government blatantly has an agenda to reopen at all costs and im not going to be a guinea pig for their political games.

The problem is many older people have had double AZ which is the worst against Delta - Probably why they are bringing the (prob pfizer) booster jab forward.

But why would you willingly expose yourself to a disease to prove a point that literally nobody cares about? Doesn't affect anybody else, only you.

Yeah I haven't seen that. All I've seen is people - not just on here - saying they were predicted as far worse. Have seen a graph, though no idea if actually legit.

Four weeks ago or whenever it was that they pushed back June 21, BBC and ITV were asking why the date had been pushed back, despite having run loads of stories in the weeks previous suggesting it should be pushed back.

People are sick of it, properly sick of it.

Has the second report predicted more deaths though? it's run a few different methods and one being a worse case scenario about certain vaccine's not being effective and the Delta variant being very highly transmissable ( All guesswork by the report and states so )

So, lets move onto SAGE. What predictions have they made in the last six months??

One thing i will point out though, when Chris Whitty made predictions late last summer about second wave and the number of deaths per day , didn't they get rubbished by a lot of the written press at the time??
