I'm not saying it is - I just believe that there should be a differentiation between your work clothing and your 'out of work' clothing

IMO it's a small factor in the whole work/life balance thing

most people people i know, including me, do have separate clothes.

something like trousers, plain t shirt, hoodie/sweat top, a shirt or two and some harder wearing trainers

Hope that's not a rule that's gets brought in universally - I like getting dressed up smart for work

I'll wear a suit for client meetings but in terms of shoots I go more casual although will still wear a casual shirt/polo but many just wear t shirts and shorts which I find scruffy tbh.

If you rock into the office wearing an Armani suit whilst your colleagues are dressed like Tom Davies your career trajectory is going nowhere but up mate as your boss will see that you mean business.

I generally kickflip over my colleagues in a Hugo Boss on the way in

Oh. Look.
Infected person coughs with other people around.
They are much less likely to catch the virus if that person was wearing a mask.
Because the mask stops the droplet spray.

That's fine. I accept it and I'm happy to keep wearing one - I really am.

I just don't see them as being the most important tool for fighting this in the long term.

Personally, I'd have kept them as mandatory in certain places (transport, supermarkets, shops etc) for the remainder of the year, possibly until the spring.

But they haven't done, they're going to be voluntary, so I suppose in the long term, that's how it's going to be - if you feel like you've got a sniffle or cold or cough, wear a mask.

I think a lot of places will still request that you wear one to go on them. For example,I'm sure you will keep having to wear one in hospital or other healthcare settings.

And again, just so I'm clear, I don't agree with the decision not to keep them as mandatory on things like transport.

I'm a 'boss' and I'd rather see individuality than a faceless suit.

That being said, most people do probably dress of the smarter side of casual. We had a 'relaxed' dress code before, my only issue with it was that we had to wear shoes which I really dislike doing. Now I can just wear some trainers.
