FFS just tested positive. I expected it really as I can’t taste or smell anything which is such an odd sensation. Just before I was about to get my Vaccine.

Does anyone know how long after covid you have to wait until you can get the vaccine?

Per CDC - UK may have other recommendations

People with COVID-19 who have symptoms should wait to be vaccinated until they have recovered from their illness and have met the criteria for discontinuing isolation; those without symptoms should also wait until they meet the criteria before getting vaccinated. This guidance also applies to people who get COVID-19 before getting their second dose of vaccine.

Sorry to hear that mate, hope you have a swift recovery. Out of interest do you know where you might of picked it up? Do you think it would of been a get together with friends or just randomly caught it out and about?

1068 people in hospital 161 on ventilators that’s out of 60 odd million extending the lock down seem a bit of an over reaction looking at those figures.
The thing is mate, its still "growing", Im no fan of Boris the Butcher, but hes damned if he do damned if he dont with this.

He could re-open everything and if the numbers increase and we start hitting triple figure deaths again, then people will be first to call him out.

Its honestly the sensible thing at this point IMO.

I mean lets be honest, the most sensible thing would be to scale back a level, but LOL, there would be some pretty bad riots nationwide if they did that.

Mate I get all that, I think my post is the only one I’ve posted in this thread because I I’ve just followed all th rules the best I can, and to be honest get overwhelmed with the sheer amount of information that’s publish, but the fact remains that if there was a 100% increase in hospital admissions there would still only be just over 2k in hospital if that’s going to overwhelm the NHS we are in trouble.

I get that, but relaxing measures while cases are rising isnt the most sensible thing, IMO.

The sensible thing is see where we are in 4 weeks.

If the cases are still rising, but hospital admissions and deaths are static then great.

And with regards the rules, I honestly have no idea what they currently are or what isnt opening on the 21st either.
