On the good news side of the ledger

Its difficult as thats still extremely low. Obviously if it continues to grow exponentially we might have a problem but thats less than 1 person per hospital in the UK (obviously in reality there is 40 at Bolton and probably quite a lot in manchester/bolton but its still quite low). Bolton has leveled off and started to reduce at a fairly low peak of around 400 per 100,000. Some places in the winter I believe were around 2000 cases per 100,000? If we see similar in clusters across the UK it shouldn't cause huge concern.

I believe Blackburn and Darwen are slightly behind Bolton so it will be interesting to see what happens there.

Yeah, it the trend that is the issue rather than the actual numbers at the moment. Would be much happier if that case number started to bend.

Hospital figures - 12 deaths were announced today, up 11 on yesterday and up 10 on last Tuesday’s late announced figure of 2. All 12 deaths were in English hospitals, up 12 on yesterday and up 11 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to 9.14

All settings - 13 deaths were announced today, up 1 on yesterday and up 13 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 10.29

For the 60 day cut off, 26 deaths were announced today, up 25 on yesterday and up 26 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 18.43

But it's not forcing people to. It's saying that if you want to do a job that places you at a high risk of either catching or transmitting the virus, then you need to have the vaccine. I'm colour blind and you wouldn't want me flying a plane or fixing your plug. The problem is we have this utter madness that the vaccine is harmful to you. It's not, and medical professionals more than anyone should know that.

Oh sorry, got that mixed up.

Yes in that case absolutely.

Direct link for Aintree

I'm from Yorkshire mate :D

But thanks.

I'm going to do it next week. Wait for everything to calm down with the booking system and I'm sure by the end of the month I'll be booked in. Plenty of time and no rush, I'm not someone who has to be first to do anything

My parents both full vaxed. I can't really be affording time off if I'm ill from the jab either during the Euros.

No worries.

Thought it might be useful in general. I also know that Clatterbridge has a direct booking site (even less use to you).

The NHS site goes crazy when they first announce new age groups but it quickly settles down.
