Here we go, the " Nepal " variant has been found in the UK lol

So, this is how we`re going to live our lives now ?

Every week, a new even more " scarier " variant than the last ??

Stop the world, I want to get off.

When will the bemuda triangle varient arrive?

Whats everyones guesses regarding the June date? Up until today I thought it would be pushed back by 2-3 weeks. Now I'm not sure. Maybe another variant could appear in the next week or two which could push the date back.

I've several friends that are refusing to have it. For various reasons from the conspiracies to it being untested etc etc...

Must admit the potential long term effects are worrying but stuck between a rock and a hard place really.

Had my 1st jab this weekend and just feel slightly tired but keep getting a mild dull ache in my jaw and head that comes and goes.

God knows if its a side effect least I haven't dropped a 3rd testicle yet lol

Had my second shot today, just about hanging on for the thrill of the unveiling of the next manager.

Wirral shot up. :(

Thing is, looking at the covid map, the outbreaks are still limited to a few areas. NW, Glasgow, and some place in the Midlands. When the Kent variant hit, it spread like wildfire almost straight away.

And also, so far, as far as I can see, increased case numbers, (more testing still?) aint leading to significant increases in hospital admissions.

Whilst there has been some growth it doesn't seem to have exploded as badly this time round. Although it is worth noting that in December the pubs where open when the per 100,000 figures were significantly higher. We're at a much lower base which may have made the difference.

It will be a political decision and so can’t read the tea leaves on that aspect but for the underlying Sage modeling this guy is usually pretty good at anticipating. Still very fluid data wise though.

Hospital figures - 1 death was announced today, nothing to compare from yesterday and it’s the exact same total as last Monday. Zero deaths came in English hospitals, down one on last week. There is no 7 day rolling average figure

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 1 death was announced today, down 3 on yesterday and the exact same total as last Monday. The 7 day rolling average remains the same at 8.43

For the 60 day cut off, 1 death was announced today, down 3 on yesterday and the exact same total as last Monday. The 7 day rolling average remains the same at 14.71
