Some hospital beds beginning to be freed up but still 38% positivity in Nepal

Who is the “we” in this scenario? The global population?TBF you can make an argument that it is going wrong, now. The spread of this variant is clearly causing concern here and abroad, and it being endemic here is probably as a minimum going to mean that travel to and from the UK is going to face increasing restrictions because we have not got a hold of it (again). I'll be amazed if Spain and Portugal don't follow Germany and France over the next few weeks.
... and that is just this variant; if we end up generating a variant that can get past one or more of the vaccines we have now, there is not going to be an alternative to lockdowns again should the death rate start to spike again.
This recent paper suggested pretty high asymptotic transmission rates.Genuine, none troll question- what exactly is the current data on asymptomatic transmission and the reliability of test results on these people?
But it's harder to pretend you're working in the office whilst actually sitting off watching Poland take on the mighty Slovakia.WFH has been a disaster all things considered
The women have put on weight
The dining room is a complete tip from work stuff
Housing bubble from tossers thinking they can all move to the lakes/seaside as WFH will carry on forever in their minds
Soon to be thousands of unwanted lockdown puppies being chucked into shelters when said previous tossers can go back in holidays and weekends away
Sooner you all are back in the office the better for society imo
Wow. Thought airports have a compulsory masking policy. I am not a fan as some here might know but thought airports would be the last in the list when it comes to getting rid of the thing.Just been to the Manchester airport viewing gallery with the Mrs and kids. Not a single mask in sight, absolutely heaving, glorious weather. Lockdowns over anyway, nobody is arsed any more.
can't go in tesco without a mask, can't go on public transport or international transport without a mask, improved standards of sanitation in gyms, recreational and service areas.Just been to the Manchester airport viewing gallery with the Mrs and kids. Not a single mask in sight, absolutely heaving, glorious weather. Lockdowns over anyway, nobody is arsed any more.
I hope this is a distortion because of all the surge testing
I hope this is a distortion because of all the surge testing

Can't work out if this is sarcasm or you're actually suggesting the 12 week wait hasn't been effective...Shiver my timbers 12 week vaccine wait between doses goes all Pete Tong, who would of thought, I know...

Yep, same in Llandudno yesterday and today, pavements absolutely rammed, hardly a mask anywhere. If there’s no big spike after all this mayhem it’ll be a miracle.Just been to the Manchester airport viewing gallery with the Mrs and kids. Not a single mask in sight, absolutely heaving, glorious weather. Lockdowns over anyway, nobody is arsed any more.
