Throw in the varience in protection after 1 dose, going from memory isn’t the range between 59-89% in clinical trials.

And (as we’ve discussed many times!) there is very little data on post 21 day results of one dose as most of the trials were done on a different schedule.

I can understand people being frustrated with the scientists but I honestly don’t envy them given the shakiness of the data we have to date, especially after B.1.117.

It's not just hindsight to say India should have been red listed. Its just yet another example of the Tories screwing up absolutely everything to do with the response to COVID with the exception of vaccination, which they amazingly nailed.
