I don’t think it is easy tbh but I do think, especially islands, it is achievable when combined with other techniques - Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan for example have all had success in the past year.It's possible it could have delayed things for a few more weeks, but, if it were so easy, how come no major nation has done this? How come we're seeing this variant flare-up outside of India in western countries almost simultaneously? Is it possible that we all missed it? Or could it be that we can't escape from the fact that closing borders isn't actually possible and/or effective?

For the 60 day cut off, 15 deaths were announced today, down 23 on yesterday and down 4 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 23.57
