I said lockdowns should remain in place until all adults were vaccinated. We now have a variant sweeping the country and it's just a matter of how infectious this one is.You said the last lockdown wasn't strict enough, and plenty of others did too tbf. Schools opened up two months back, people were able to play team sports at the end of March, have now had four weeks of mixing in beer gardens, going into shops etc
We haven't been in 'lockdown' for over a month now, yet cases have completely dropped to lower than they were last summer. The small spikes we have seen are in age groups that probably have less people vaccinated in general.
There's plenty of evidence that it's now both the impact of the last lockdown and the impact of the vaccines
Not good.

Current Affairs is largely an enter at your own risk place.Do the mods actually look at any of this abuse??
I disagree. It cant be left to a point where some posters are accusing other posters (other posters in this instance who have argued for caution on health grounds) of wanting an outbreak.Current Affairs is largely an enter at your own risk place.
A reminder then that The Current Affairs forum is largely unmoderated. Our moderators take a step back from moderating. We won't/can't moderate this forum as we do the rest of the site, nor will we allow it to monopolise our time.
