This stuff is insane mate.

Maybe its living in a country which has been invaded by anyone who fancies it for abar 500 years but people here just shut up and get on with it.

We live in a block of 65 flats, probably half are elderly so we have a rota to go to the shop for them. We have communal sanitizer in the lifts. My mate is sick on the 7th floor so we went the pub by Skype tonight.

The shops are keeping space between people by giving everybody a 10 min time slot to get in and check out. Nobody argues, they just get on with it.
Our home delivery drivers are the only ones to deliver to flats over 2nd floor.
They don't get paid anymore than the other shops that don't.
So, retention of drivers is a constant issue.
Suddenly silly stuff like this, that no one has even though an issue before has become relevant.

Evidently your sense of humour is very different to mine at a time when humanity needs to pull together.
Not really, but if I don't laugh I'll cry thinking about. Its whatever gets us through.

I haven't left the house since last Thursday when schools closed over here. Three kids under 8 which I'm trying to home school while keeping out of the way of the wife who is working from home now. My folks are over 80, one of whom had to go into hospital today for post cancer check up, where most of Dublins infections will be treated. The wife's brother is immuno compromised so we can't call in even though they live up the street, just in case.

Humour is what gets us all through the day.

Humour is fine if it’s your method of dealing with things but respect those where it isn’t.

Seeing as the teachers are giving the grades to students, I hope your giving them boss grades right now.
