I think he said it but im not sure why anyone cares, sticks and stones, this government have made so many mistakes there are better things to beat him with then a silly comment he made.

Obviously the lockdown and vaccines are playing a major part in the low numbers in the UK but I wonder also if those huge numbers infected we saw in Nov-January playing its part in terms of natural immunity.

This place is turning into a Tory scab city by the day. No doubt Tory-lite Rotheram, the co-architect of the city's winter catastrophe, was the governement's go to guy for putting these on. Live outdoor and indoor events with thousands in attendance and without masks or social distancing. "A spokesman for Liverpool City Council said the choice of the city was down to its "can-do attitude and real sense of community spirit". What an utter spanner. A scab of the worst order - willing to push the boundaries of the city's capacity to withstand a Covid19 surge just to facilitate the spiv economy they helped put in place. Bending over backwards for the Tory Overlords sent in to run the city.

So if infections rise after all these events will they put their stupid 'kin hands up to that? I somehow doubt it.
