I couldn’t book a good slot yet. Really can’t afford anymore time off work right now, but know it needs boxing off like.
Another example of an island not using that advantage to keep cases down, with us being the other one.I read that Sardinia has given about 480k of vaccines, but they give them about 3 weeks apart so say about 250-260K people inoculated. With a population of 1.6 Million that’s just 15-16% covered, so this probably helps explain a part of the problem.....
“In a gumdrop house on lo-lypop lllllaaaannneee!!!!....”Yeah, Dave thinks everybody is walking around outside masked up after getting tested hourly.
He lives in proper fantasy land.
It would likely help but as @TaffyToffee85 mentioned better control/testing of people coming to the island would have been a simpler approach whilst waiting for the full vaccine rollout - the one dose strategy wouldn't really impact much in the three weeks timeline that cases have escalated.I read that Sardinia has given about 480k of vaccines, but they give them about 3 weeks apart so say about 250-260K people inoculated. Get it done. Some things are more important than work and this is one of them to be honest.I couldn’t book a good slot yet. Really can’t afford anymore time off work right now, but know it needs boxing off like.
Had my first shot of AZ today at around 11:40. Very efficient process, in and out in a few mins. Just had to wait around for 15 mins after because I was driving.
No pain in my arm or anything and no side effects yet. I reckon I had Covid early last year before testing really started, not sure if that will effect potential reactions.
