Problem is mate so many people just aren't sensible. Or even worse, they are sensible they are just pig ignorant / arrogant.

It's why mask wearing has to continue, there'll always be the few that will take advantage of every level of easing of restrictions. I'm always amazed by how many just can't work out two metres distance.

Come June 21st, I hope their denseness won’t be much of a concern and we as a country on a domestic level are out of this already. Worldwide it’s far from over.

6 new deaths today, two more than last Monday, but still very encouraging to see two Mondays in a row on single figures for the first time the Kent virus came along.

Last week we had in total 160 deaths, 23 less than the week before that. It looks like we are at the “Bottoming out” or “flatlining stage” for now, but being until the first vaccine dosages ramp up again next week or so. This month was always second dosage priority.

2,064 cases today in comparison to 2,963 last week Monday, so it’s coming back down again well.

Yesterday there were 83,296 people currently with the virus, a huge drop from 92,210 the day prior. Today that figure stands on 81,840. That is -1,456 from yesterday so a bit of a disappointment, but after the huge drop yesterday, it’s on the other hand totally expected, which is common with this particular figure. It does still put us in a very good position to see below 80,000 for the first time in ages.

Got my second Jab before and I can't speak highly enough of the way everything was handled during both visits. The staff at Broadgreen chest and heart hospital are absolutely fantastic and they (like everyone in the NHS) deserved to be recognised for the amazing work they've done through all this.

So, there's 2 possible outcomes here. Well there's actually a third but there's absolutely no reason why Peston would put his career on the line by lying.

1) Johnson said those words and there are serious leaks within his number 10 staff as they spill the beans

2) Johnson didn't say those words and elements of the number 10 staff are lying, for whatever reason.

Either way, he has serious issues within the number 10 staff which isn't good.

I'm probably leaning towards he said those words now, which is pretty shocking really if true, more so given he had a serious bout of the illness himself.
