No. That's not "a bit like 'over my dead body'" - that's nothing like it at all. As bad as it is, that is a cliched way of saying your not going to put up with something...anything.
What Johnson has said was specifically related to the thousands already dead in this country due to Covid19...and the ony way to avoid that carnage was locking down...which he said he would reject and take more mega death instead.
In short: dont be making excuses for Johnson, because in the unlikely event that Corbyn would have ever have made such a crass statement ' you'd have slaughtered him.

Cummings is scum, but he's not in the same league as a man who has misgoverned this country in a deadly pandemic and caused tens of thousands more deaths than need to have been lost. And then he makes promises that he'll add to the death toll with thousands more rather than shut the country down again.
He's dangerous; he's out of control. He's a killer.
