The list of key workers' who can send their kids to school is so large. My mum's small primary school are expecting about 60 out of the 250 kids in next week.

Rishi sunak was boss then.
I gave a serious rebuttal to a colleague today who was spewing his usual political rhetoric and claiming everything this government was doing was wrong.

Why? Nothing else rather than he's a died in the wood Labour supporter. I'm not a Conservative, but this is not a time for letting political allegiances sway reality.

The Chancellor and this government have today appeared to have stood up to the plate, so credit where credit is due.

So, can anyone help out re. freelance / self-employed support?

I'm seeing lots of people (the usual suspects who can't accept anything this gov do as helpful and insist Corbyn would have already spaffed out £900billion) saying it's £95 a week. But I saw it was actually the statutory sick pay plus the UC allowance?

If people are more clued up I'm all ears!

Exactly mate. I’m a labour supporter and a genuine tory bad mouther however today what they are doing is greater than I could ever imagine. It’s an immense moment in our history which if they follow through will keep them in number 10 for years and years to come.

Unfortunately after all this is over the debt is gonna be so large then more austerity is going to have to be the case.
And as much as I hate the cuts of the last 10 years, it turns out they are what are giving us some wiggle room here.

I think austerity will reach further afield. The middle class will become poorer etc. For now what they have done is fabulous, I don’t think anyone is looking further than a year ahead at the moment.

Aye get saving as much as you can on lockdown as our taxes will be shooting up in the coming months.
