I see Gibraltar is now fully vaccinated.....
.... and Fair Isle, although that has 48 people living on it. However, the Shetlands are as a result as well as Gibraltar well worth looking at the daily figures to see how well the vaccines work.
The Shetlands have no cases in the recent seven day data, which Fair Isle is part of.
Boris’s latest message couldn’t be even more pathetic, of course the vaccines have helped and they’ll keep the figures down when we fully “open up”.
Been keeping a weekly tally of deaths and daily active cases lately. Sources are the .Gov Dashboard and Worldometer.
Weekly deaths
Dates of weeks/number of deaths over the week/number of deaths per day Mon-Sun

22-28 March:- 437 (17, 112, 98, 63, 70, 58, 19)
29 March-4 April:- 245 (23, 56, 43, 51, 52, 10, 10)
5 April-11 April:- 251 (26, 20, 45, 53, 60, 40, 7)
As of this week, 13 deaths on Monday and 23 yesterday.
Easter time is hugely to blame for the figures being misleading last week. For starters, Monday’s case figures this week had 2,200 added on after being found at the back of a sofa from seven days ago. There were so many backlogs with the deaths, they messed the true tally up of last week.
However, since it’s best to compare this week with a fortnight ago, we are on track to have our lowest recorded week of Covid deaths in a very long time.
