If that one contraceptive maker were causing clotting at the rate currently reported, even if higher than their competitors? Imo yes they would still be authorized but with a warning label "in rare incidences this product may cause blood clots". How it impacted consumer take up would be another matter entirely - reputational risk is very real for both AZ and JNJ now.If ONE contraceptive maker was beyond doubt the leading brand causing clotting would they be in buisness much longer? That's the comparison.
