I would think nearly 137 million worldwide cases and 3 million deaths counts as an emergency, so it’s a moot point really......

Iirc the Pfizer trials for instance had 40,000 people of which half got the placebo.

If there is a particular segment that it effects (say younger women 20 to 35) there may be more chance if the trial group was skewed to that group but they usually try to recruit a broad spectrum. Given, as we’ve frequently discussed, AZ didn’t pick up enough old people in their trials those trials may have actually been more likely to detect the impact than Pfizer but the numbers would still have been very small to nonexistent.

Ok, that's a fair point, though I think the German and Norwegian cases were far more numerous.

But if there had been this level of incidents, unquestionably it would not now be in circulation as it is.

Good shout. Might even resort to hugs as the sun goes down.

It's been a bit of an anticlimax as my pint didn't really taste of anything. This was a bit weird as I got loads of random pub goers to have a sip from my glass and they said it was fine.

I will power on.

That’s like saying if your house wasn’t on fire we wouldn’t have drenched it in water.......personally, I am just amazed that all of these people have achieved what they have, and all this about 1/1,000,000 gets a blood clot that may be attributable is just noise, sad but just noise........any minute now someone will point out that X/1,000,000 got a blood clot but didn’t have any vaccine, so therefore we should halt the choice of people not having one......we all make decisions and I know what yours and mine were......

Sorry mate, going to have to disagree again.

Incidence of blood clots due to the contraceptive pill is substantially higher than the levels recorded to date for any of the vaccines and yet the pill is very much in circulation - the previous iterations were even worse iirc.

If ONE contraceptive maker was beyond doubt the leading brand causing clotting would they be in buisness much longer? That's the comparison.

Its not just ONE vax that has this though is it? Its a stat that is so low it didnt even get picked up in the trials. A few days ago I posted you the potential side effects of a small pill Mrs R takes every day.

If they were possible under any Covid jab, (one is, clotting), they wouldnt get past the Daily Mail.
