Only 7 people in Merseyside are on ventilation for COVID19. 102 in hospital but its almost halving every week.

The vaccination figures in the region are excellent. Especially for first doses:-

It’s still good news though.....

Not a direct link but this is the second breakthrough they have had with mRNA (after the cancer findings) that has come about due to Coronavirus. This research, funding, trials etc would be years off if the Coronavirus didnt exist. It helped cut a lot of the red tape

Ironically anyone over 60, which was the big gaping hole from the original data.

I think it’s safe to say AZ rushed to market, when the MRNA’s announced.

Oxford deserved a better partner then AZ IMO.

They should have went with Merck.
